Gary Kirsten Cricket caused a major stir at the 2017 Cape Argus Sports Show.
GKC proved to be one of the event’s most popular stands at this year’s edition which was held at the beautiful Sandringham Farm in Stellenbosch from 24 to 26 March.
Our Batfast Simulator and Speed Arm attracted over 200 people.
“We had great fun at the show. We were really busy on both days with the people really enjoying our state of the art equipment, GKC Coaching Director Ryan Van Niekerk said.
Each player had six balls to face from the Bat Simulator to score as many runs as possible.
“This was totally free of charge. One could face a range of different types of bowling, fast, slow and spin. People found it really entertaining, Van Niekerk said.
He continued, “We also had many parents have a go. Fathers took on their sons and many mum’s got involved as well.”
Meanwhile the Speed Arm gave people a chance to test out exactly how strong their throwing was.
“We also had plenty of questions about what we offer at GKC and how we can assist individuals,” Van Niekerk said.
“We are looking to getting out to more areas around the country. We want to create a big network within the private coaching sector,” he concluded.
